Portsmouth, VA – The Global Directory of Who’s Who proudly honors P. Denis Gribok, Retired Resident Engineer with the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), for his outstanding career dedicated to the operation, construction, and maintenance of roads and highways throughout the state of Virginia.
Throughout his tenure at VDOT, Mr. Gribok played a vital role in overseeing infrastructure projects critical to the region’s development. His responsibilities included managing budgets, maintenance programs, infrastructure improvements, and new construction across key areas such as interstate highways, HOV lanes, the Second Downtown Tunnel, bridges, interchanges, and the Beltway. He accepted a role with the U.S. Government at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, the nation’s oldest and most historic shipyard. His leadership helped ensure the safe and efficient flow of transportation for millions of drivers.
A committed public servant, Mr. Gribok’s contributions extended beyond engineering. His service to his country earned him the Army Commendation Medal, and he is also proud to have achieved the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout through the Boy Scouts of America—a testament to his lifelong dedication to excellence and community service.
In retirement, Mr. Gribok enjoys spending time on his hobbies, which include collecting stamps and coins, as well as bowling and swimming.
